Jamaica's Financial Crisis, What Can We Learn?

In Mid August 2010 EritreaCompass in association with Eritrean Audio - Visual Institute was ready to publish two videos online which were aimed at encouraging tourism to Eritrea, One video focused on Asmara while the other on Eritrea as a whole. Before the videos were published an announcement was made as a note on facebook, however a very ill informed individual that is being stirred around by the western propaganda machine made the following comments. Hence EritreaCompass.com has taken the courtesy to connect ill informed individuals with reality by posting the following videos on Jamaica's Financial Crisis.

"In order Eritrea to become giant tourism nation, it should learn from small countries like Jamaica, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic…

Ex. Jamaica with a population of 2,7 million have over 3 million visitors a year and profits over 2 billion dollar just in tourism. The main reason for this success is – It is an excellent place in doing business where government welcomes investors with open arms. The Government of Jamaica has removed all restrictions on the movement of capital and profits. The government is in no business in owning resorts, cruse lines, hotels and so on. There are hundreds of resorts, big hotels and so on owned by people with capital. That’s how it should be in Eritrea in order to make our nation the Mecca of tourism and creating jobs."
