Since the arrival of Google in 1998 meant that search of information has been possible, today it has been further innovated to ensure that the type of information that we consume is of high quality by sophisticated algorithms, and also by the means of social networking, social book marking, and social news sites.

Before going in to the main body of this article I would like to give credit to a dear friend for all the technical contribution incorporated in this article.

After carefully studying the different types of negatives on Eritrea via the different types of platforms on social media, it has come to the conclusion that the worst and one that can have a profound effect for the image of Eritrea is twitter for now.

The other one is digg.com where people submit all the negative articles about Eritrea. Nonetheless it is still imperative to keep a close watch on which platforms any kind of negative media is taking place.

This is all thanks to the participation of all resilient Eritreans that support the positive social media campaign for Eritrea. Well done to everyone that joined twitter, and made our presence felt throughout!

In this effort we should be able to do more on twitter as well as other platforms, having said that the focus of this article is about digg.com, which is one of the most important families of social media. One of the major trends that social media has brought about is constant change, these changes take place in different forms which range from the ways we communicate, ways we do business, to the ways we consume information.
