FC Bisha Crowned Champions!!!

Pls spread out the story below for a quick news dispatch... Twit it, tag it, FB it, email it & even shout about it 'coz the Londoners U-12 Golden boys of FC-Bisha have wrapped up the title & the gold medals & are expected to fly back to London by Sunday. ......brace yourselves for a big party next week to celebrate the success.

Many congratulations & Hip hip for the head coach Ghebrenigus Ghile (wedi-Ghile) & his golden boys. BiSHA ARE CROWNED CHAMPIONS!!!! By Eri-Sports-UK correspondent The Eritrean Londoners U-12 team, Bisha FC, who travelled to Sweden to take part in the Scandnavian Annual Football tournament has been sweeping aside all their opponents.

The Golden boys of Bisha FC arrived just before noon on Thursday 23rd June in Gothenberg to take part in the all important opening ceremony only hours after their arrival. Shortly after the opening ceremony, Bisha FC played the opening match against the home side Massawa FC of Sweden.

The result was a whooping 5-1 for Bisha FC. Bisha FC had a well deserved rest on Thursday after that game and braced themselves up for a fixture pile up of 4 games on the trot the next day, Friday 24th June. The match was played between 4 teams against one another & twice over.

Here is below the result for the matches played so far...... On the opening day

Day: 1 Thursday 23th June, 2011 At 18:00......Bisha 5-1 Massawa

Day: 2 Friday 24th June, 2011 10:00......Bisha 6-1 Asmara 12:00......Bisha 2-0 Freselam 15:00......Bisha 5-2 Massawa 17:00......Bisha 1-0 Asmara

Day: 3 Saturday, 25th June, 2011 At 11:00......Bisha 5-2 Freselam After a grueling 4 matches on the second day in a space of 8 hours, our Golden boys had already proven their invincibility by winning 5 matches out of 5 before playing their last competitive match earlier today against Freselam, whom Bisha had already played at the noon's kick-off, the previous day, which saw Freselam go down by 2 goals without any reply(2-0).

Bisha beat Freselam again by 5-2. As a run away leader of the league table, Bisha FC had already confirmed to have wrapped up the tournament's title & the winners' gold medals with a 100% winning streak. Bisha FC of London has, indeed, lived upto its name. Bisha was once again tested of its invincibility when it had to play a friendly match against a tough opponent that saw Bisha again winning by a goal to nil to make it 7 out 7, 100% win.

I talked to the head coach, Gebrenegus Ghile(AKA Wedi-Ghile) on the phone earlier but unfortunately hardly managed to get a word out of him As he was so overwhelmed with emotion that he had lost his voice. Many thanks to the head-coach Wedi-Ghile and his assistant Tesfalem. Tesfalem, however, had to abruptly cut short his trip returning back to London on emergency on the late hours of last night so as to be able to attend a funeral of his cousin & close friend that took place earlier on Sunday in London. We all pray that God give Tes the strength.

Tecle of Erina FC had last night replaced Tes of Geez Right FC as his replacement. I'm sure Tes will find a comfort as the golden boys have successfully done the job for him. Many thanks also goes to all the top class bunch (the parents, families & fans) who accompanied & supprted the FC Bisha boys. Some of the golden boys arrived in London in the late hour of Saturday shortly after the award ceremony.

Members of Erina FC teams amongst the selected Bisha FC are also expected to report to their routine training for their local team on Sunday afternoon to a rapturous welcome and a guard of honour for the golden boys. The rest will arrive on Sunday where the whole squad are expected to come together once again on the following weekend to celebrate their hard won cup & medals with parents and the whole Eritrean community in London.

Ambassador to the UK and Ireland Tesfamichael Gerahtu (Wedi-Gerahtu) who himself was a professional footballer, in his hey days, attended the celebration, as well sport's correspondents of Eri-compass & meadna websites also attended & report on the day.

Wesede, Ere beal Sire!!!....Wesede, Bisha beal Sire!!!!....Wesede, Wedi-Ghile beaL Sire!!!!!
