Adiam Tesfalem Represents Eritrea at the 2021 UCI Road World Championships

Today on the elite world women’s chronometer Individual Time Trial (ITT) championship Adyam Tesfalem successfully represented Eritrea.

The 24 year old averaged over 40 km per hour consistently for over 31 Kms of the race course.


Adiam has been a national time trial champion for juniors in 2016 and African cup road champion in 2018 and Elite women’s National time trial champion in 2021 in Eritrea.


The Under 23s men world road championship will take place on Friday the 24th. Biniam Ghirmay, Henok Muluberhan, Efrem and Mengis will take part in it, where Eritrea may have a serious chance to challenge for a medal this year.
